Up Side Absalutely stunning!!!
Expect warm, sunny skies with very little rain, beach weather, great for National Park walking, riding a bike or driving with the top down. This is the place to be if your trying to escape the winter cold elsewhere. Think tropical bliss
Starts to ease in late December - Jan/Feb/March
Down side humidity, rain, heat
Up Side Low season availability and swimming in water holes/waterfalls!) - You can still do much of the same things as in the dry season but if your going outdoors plan your day to go early morning and in the evenings rather than mid day
Expect hot, very humid conditions, can rain heavily with monsoonal rain systems or sometimes cyclones can form. The locals are always checking the weather over this time so we suggest if your travelling on the roads in Queensland and making your way around that you do too
This is also known as Stinger season, so hiring or buying a stinger suite to swim in the sea is hightly recommended
