Florence, Arthur and Radical Bay
For those who love a little adventure, Magnetic Island’s remote beaches are worth the walk. Follow scenic national park trails to Radical Bay, Balding Bay, Arthur Bay, or Florence Bay — each offering crystal-clear water, soft sand, and a peaceful, untouched atmosphere.

Lookouts
Magnetic Island is filled with spectacular lookouts that reward every step with panoramic views of surrounding bays. The most popular is the Forts Walk Lookout, where you will often spot koalas resting in the trees along the way.
Other scenic vantage points include Hawkings Point Lookout overlooking Nelly and Geoffrey Bays, Arthur Bay Lookout on the way to the Forts, and Sphinx Lookout above Arcadia, offering beautiful sunrise and sunset views.
West Point
Famous for its breathtaking sunsets, West Point Magnetic Island is accessible from Picnic Bay via an unsealed road.
